How our policies are updated
All policies are published together as one versioned set. The version, effective date and last-updated date appear at the top of every policy page.
- When you first enter the website, you are asked to confirm that you are 21 or older. Your answer is remembered only in your browser for 30 days (see Cookies & Browser Storage).
- When you submit a request, you confirm that you are 21 or older, are buying for a business or research organization, and understand that products are for research use only; you also accept the Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. We record the version in effect with your request.
- When we change a policy, we publish a new version with a new date. Changes apply to requests and orders made after the new version takes effect.
- If a change materially affects how we use information you have already given us, we describe it on the relevant page before it takes effect.
